The Genie LED Garage door bulb (LEDB1-R) is a bulb specifically designed with garages in mind. Traditional LED light bulbs emit noise that can interfere with radio frequencies, affecting the responsiveness or range of your opener’s remotes. The Genie LED bulb emits no radio frequency and it won’t affect the range of your remotes. Genie bulbs are also built to withstand the harsh conditions usually in garages. Bulbs are cold weather tested and damp location rated and illuminates your damp garage down to temperatures of –30C (–22F). Genie’s LED bulb is made of shatter & vibration-resistant materials and is tested to withstand 5G of shaking force, to eliminate breakage due to garage door vibration.
Aside from being durable, the Genie Bulb is also energy efficient. These bulbs will operate for an estimated 25,000 hours, costing approximately $1.07/year, depending on local utilities, and will supply the equivalent light of an ordinary 60-watt incandescent light bulb.
