Description
Doublemax – Water Heater
Material | Carbon Steel |
Working Pressure | 150 psi |
Hydrostatic Test | 300 psi |
The DoubleMax, Thermo 2000’s instantaneous indirect hot water heater, is the logical solution to meet the needs of commercial applications in which the heat transfer liquid may be classified as toxic. The DoubleMax is equipped with an innovative double-wall copper heat exchanger that offers a thermal conductivity that is 17 times greater than that of stainless steel. It reduces the risk of cross-contamination, ensuring maximum safety. Available in 3 sizes, it is compatible with all sources of thermal energy. It features an unmatched high thermal exchange capacity.
The indirect water heater heat exchanger shall be equipped with double-wall copper piping in the form of parallel helicoidal lines having a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi.
The indirect water heater tank shall have a patented steel injector through which the boiler water fluid enters the top of the tank and a steel collector through which the boiler water circuit fluid exits at the bottom of the tank. The tank is made of high-density carbon steel. All joints are arc-welded using the MIG/Argon method. The tank is designed for a maximum allowable working pressure of 150 psi and undergoes a hydrostatic test at 300 psi.
